Peter Graves narrates a fifty minute review of the extensive film career of Cary Grant. Noting his greatest hits, Grant’s public persona is not deeply examined; least of all, why Grant’s crafting of a particular kind of leading man was so immensely popular. As Grant would have wanted it, his private life remains unknown apart from a public record of several marriages and divorces.

Another great Biography,
I’m a fan of the Biography series and of Cary Grant. Biography keeps with its winning formula of filling out the timeline of Cary Grant’s life with interesting anecdotes, comments from friends, and excellent pictures and film clips. The show keeps away from the gossipy side, but does reveal interesting facts that may be unknown to a new or just casual Cary Grant fan. I highly recommend it for someone new to Cary Grant’s films and would like a basic, but thorough, look at the great actor’s private life.
